Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde

Persecution, humiliation, sexuality and wit. At the end of the 1800s, England is at battle with the most famous author of its day – Oscar Wilde. The renowned writer is on trial for the act of "gross indecency", a bill passed by Queen Victoria, penalizing the sexual acts between two men.
Transcending time, this production takes place in a modern day boardroom with the audience witnessing first-hand the events which leads to the demise of a well-known artist.
Featuring Greg Bishop as Oscar Wilde and Jonathan Pretty as Lord Alfred Douglas. Accompanying them on stage are Daniel Bates, Luke Day, Chris Cope, Mike Doaga-Diaconescu, Lawrence Green, Mitchel MacKay and David Secunda.
